50 Christmas Blog Post Ideas

Did anyone else think that October went by like a snail’s pace but November seems to be shooting by? Like how have we already had one whole week of being in November?! December is fast approaching & guys I seriously don’t think I can cope with all the excitement, I literally live for this time of year... Eeek!

December can be a very busy time for bloggers, throughout the festive month many bloggers take part in a tradition called Blogmas, in which they post on their blog every day in December up until Christmas Day. It can be tough thinking up content for Blogmas, so I thought I’d put together my own list of ideas to perhaps give you guys some inspiration.

Prestige Christmas Hampers- Review

It’s November 7th today, so it’s perfectly acceptable to be talking about Christmas now right? I can already hear a few of you booing & hissing at me for the very thought- haha!

For me it’s never too early, this time of year is when I literally come alive, like let me tell you I am the Christmas Queen, just saying..(totes joking!) & guys there is only 7 Monday’s left until the big day, just 7! So if now is not the time to get festive & organised, than I really don’t know when is.

Sooo.. let’s talk about Hampers.

Isn’t a Deluxe Hamper like one of the best presents you could gift to someone? (Or just a special treat to yourself) festive snacks, beverages, chocolates & wine- like seriously what is not to love about that?!

Prestige Hampers were kind enough to gift me with a fab hamper to review, so I promised to give my honest opinion & took one for the team filling my face with all the festive goodies! You are very welcome- ha!

I have to say I did do a little happy dance when I seen what the post man was delivering…

Even the outer box was beautiful & I couldn’t wait to look inside.  I wasn’t disappointed!  The stunning wooden box was exceptionally packaged with plenty of padding & a little personal note perfectly placed on top.

I had been sent the ‘Christmas Chest’ Hamper which is currently retailing at £74.99 & includes...

  • Walkers Milk, White and Dark Chocolate Classics 120g
  • Mackays Christmas Marmalade 113g
  • Mackays Christmas Preserve 113g

  • Red Velvet Crunch Biscuits 150g
  • English Breakfast Tea 40g
  • Shortbread Festive Shapes 60g
  • Handmade Smoked Oatcakes 125g
  • Iced Fruit Cake 400g

  • Water Stop station Shiraz 75cl
  • Water Stop Station Chardonnay 75cl
  • Matthew Walker Classic Christmas Pudding 100g
  • Tomato, Basil and Mozzarella Yorkshire Crisps 100g
  • Dark Chocolate Bar 60g

All presented in this GORGEOUS trunk which can be used over & over. Which is one of the biggest reasons why I love Hampers so much as they can be re-purposed & re-used. This gorgeous piece is actually now a little feature in my hallway.

The chocolates & wine were pretty much inhaled  as soon as I got the little rugrats to bed, & the rest of the contents didn’t last very long at all once the children & MR.B got their dirty mitts on them all.

And let’s face it – There is no way I have the time to make such a gorgeous gift from scratch. Plus I can only imagine the carnage that would inevitably be created at the post office with an over sized box, pushchair, toddler & two grumbling children in tow! So the convenience of ordering online with the additional personal touch of a gift message is a HUGE bonus for me!

Do you gift Hampers at Christmas? & if you don’t- why the hella not? Haha!

Learn To Forgive Yourself Mama

This one got his first proper goose egg head injury today😩 a result of running one way & looking the other, despite telling him over & over he was going to end up hurting himself🙈

We went off out for our usual after lunch walk which always ends with a play at our local park, he was on the play apparatus & I was circling around helping when needed, when he just got up & shot off like a lightening bolt & seemed to develop a bad case of selective hearing at the same time🙄

I could see it was about to happen, it was a proper heart in throat moment, I could see his fall playing in slow motion right in front of my eyes, but I still just was not quick enough to catch him. He fell right off the side of the play apparatus, head first into the ground... SMACK!😵 then came the scream that goes straight through you making all your hairs stand on end.. Oh that scream! Isn’t it just the worst sound to a Mother’s ears?!😱

After lots of cuddles he seemed to get over it pretty quickly & wanted to carry on as normal, which is obviously a very good sign & after checking him over, other than the huge lump & bruise, he seemed okay, no real damage done... phew! It just looks worse than what it actually is😪

That of course didn’t stop the #mumguilt thoughts creeping in- ‘What if I had done this or not done that?’ ‘What if I was a little firmer with him when he wasn’t listening?’ You know the drill, right?! Just over analysing everything, questioning every little detail; which is actually the worst thing you can do, because it makes you feel like SHIT! Like you failed as a Mother. Which of course is absurd, but you just can’t help having those thoughts can you? It’s very common for us parents to feel a great sense of blame & guilt after one of our babies have been injured😖

I’ve come to realise that we as parents need to teach ourselves to forgive. To forgive ourselves (& others) & to move on is a challenge for many Mums. We hold on to the pain & beat ourselves up for the mistakes & missteps we make in our parenting. But if we can just forgive & rid ourselves of Mum Guilt, move on from what ever it was that made us feel guilty in the first place, we would feel so much happier, wouldn’t we?! We can trust ourselves to learn from our past mistakes & accidents without paying the price with our happiness🧡

So today I’m sticking my two fingers up at Mum Guilt with a sense of relief, because today Mum Guilt did not beat me, today Mum Guilt did not win🖕🏼😅

‘You Are So Lucky To Have A Partner Like Yours!’

‘Wow MR.B does laundry?!’

‘Wait, What?! He cooks dinners?’

‘What do you mean he takes over the children’s bedtime routine??’

‘How did you manage to get so lucky? I can rarely get my husband to put his dirty washing in the basket, let alone actually putting a wash on!! & don’t get me started on when he comes home from work & just sits down all evening because he has had such a hard day & leaves me to finish off the dinner, cleaning the kitchen, getting the children bathed & put to bed!’

‘I wish I had a MR.B in my life’

These are all statements that have been said to me over the years from other various Mum friends since MR.B & I became parents.

(This isn’t a braggy post, I promise!!)

I have to admit that it’s always made me feel slightly uncomfortable when anyone has told me how “lucky” I am to have the type of partner that I do- the kind that thinks of nothing of getting up with our kids at night, the kind that I would never doubt could handle all three of our kids on his own if I happened to have a night out or an overnight trip away.

Of course I feel extremely lucky to have MR.B in my life, he is caring, loving, hard working & above all a brilliant Dad. I am lucky with my lot in life, I realize that. I do count myself as lucky to have all that I have.

But do I feel lucky that he “helps me” with housework, or cooking or taking care of OUR children. No. No I don’t. And here is why....

We are a TEAM. We are EQUALS.

We both work. He goes out to work. I work from home. His money is my money, my money is his money. We share the duties around the home, we parent together, he doesn’t “babysit” our children, he is a FATHER to our children.

Because we are a Team, because we are Equals.

Together we both bring different things to the table, together we make a great balanced pair- just as any relationship I think should be.

It was a package deal- I fell in love with him for the man that he was & the partner & father that he would be, & I wanted to build a life with him, not in spite of him.

So I am very happy, not lucky, to have him. We all are.

Turn That Frown Upside Down!

Last night I felt abit down, I went to bed feeling abit fedup & I woke up feeling rather negative... why?

I honestly couldn’t tell you, I can’t seem to put my finger on it.

We’ve all had those days, haven’t we?

Maybe you didn’t get enough sleep or a vivid nightmare shook you awake. Perhaps you woke up with the bitter taste of last night’s argument still lingering.

Sometimes you don’t even know why; you just wake up unhappy. (This is definitely my case today!)

Whatever the reason, we all occasionally wake up on the wrong side of the bed.

When this happens, the best thing you can do is shake the shitty mood as quickly as possible.

Consider it an act of kindness to yourself & those around you to take the time to cheer yourself up. After all, a bad mood is contagious to everyone we interact with...

I know if I’m in a bad mood it most definitely rubs off on the children & they end up acting  like little rat bags, which in turn puts me in an even WORSE mood!! Add MR.B to the mix when he walks through the door from work- he may have also had a hard, stressful day to then come home to see me at my wits end, all three children acting like feral hooligans & he’s left wondering why he even bothered coming home- haha! You get the drift!

So when I woke up this morning feeling rather crappy, I knew I had to do something about it.

Instead of focusing on all the negatives I put pen to paper & focused all on the positives & things that make me happy & puts a big fat grin on my face.

And do you know what it truly works! Once you shift your attention from bad luck to good- you’ll feel happier & suddenly your perceptions of life will seem more optimistic.

Here’s just a few of what I had written down-

  1. My family. I know it’s an obvious one, but MR.B & our three children really do make me happier than I ever thought possible. I could probably fill this whole list with things about them but that would be boring, so I’ll just do one or two.
  2. The sound of the sea. I live in the beautiful County of sunny Dorset so I always have the sea on my doorstep. I love the sound of the waves, the salty smell, the freshness of the air. No matter what is going on in my life, seeing the sea reminds me I’m just a small part of this big old world & somehow things will always work out in the end.
  3. Walking bare-foot in the sand. I love the freedom of bare feet, the feeling of sand between my toes, the little exfoliation they’re getting courtesy of Mother Nature. Just as long as the sand is not too hot!
  4. A hot shower in the morning. No matter how little sleep I’ve had, as long as I get a hot shower in the morning, I’m good to go. I’m even happier if it’s an uninterrupted shower without any of my three children in the bathroom at the same time. Which happens quite a lot!
  5. Holding hands with MR.B. We have three kids aged 10, 8 & 2 Years. If we’re all out together, we’re pushing a buggy, holding children’s hands, carrying change bags, bikes & scooters. Recently on the beach, he held my hand & it was so lovely.

What are you thankful for which puts a big smile on your face & leaves you with a warm fuzzy feeling inside? Let me know in the comments below!

Let’s Talk About Parent Sex!

Let’s talk about Sex, (after) Baby.

Let’s talk about you & me. Let’s talk about all the good things & the bad things that may be... okay, okay totally stole these lyrics from Salt ‘N’ Pepa- but ya get my drift!

Making time together as a couple, after children is bloody hard work- go figure!

When you are new post partum, everything hurts, aches, leaks, you get the picture right?! And the thought of getting down & dirty with your partner actually wants to make your vagina shut up shop for good! The bed is strictly for sleeping in! Am I right?!

You get the all clear & go head at your 6 week check ‘Yep, you are free to resume sexual intercourse’ & you are left feeling horrified, like no way, you are definitely NOT ready to hop back into the saddle but you have your husband/partner with you & hearing those magical words from your GP has left him grinning ear to ear, with that ‘I’ve been waiting for this moment’ glint in his eye- No, just No!

The first time after baby- I found was TERRIBLE (sorry MR.B!) but I feel it’s important to be honest! It feels like having sex for the first time ever! It’s awkward, it’s emotional & it’s bloody PAINFUL!!

You eventually get over that hurdle together & you slowly but surely gain your sex life back- it’s definitely not the same to begin with, but it’s back! Hurrah!

Then as your child starts to grow & be more aware, you have to be more cautious. You feel limited to when & where you can get a lil frisky.  Gone are the days when you had to be in the mood. If the opportunity presents itself, you take it. No questions asked.

Also, why is it that as soon as either of you even think about starting up a little game of dancing in the sheets, is the exact moment the children are so very desperate for your attention?!

They just know, it’s like they have some kind of sixth sense going on!

Sometimes, it seems like they always know, knocking on the door at the absolute worst moments. It is a special skill they don’t even know they have- haha!

I have accumulated in my 10 years of parenting a few lil parent sex tips, that may be of help...

Quickies are your friend! It’s exciting, it makes you laugh & it’s QUICK!

Lower your expectations- no parent has the energy to go all out every time, especially after a long day of assisting their little people with their endless needs.

Location- have a little person invading your bed again? No problem. Bathrooms have a lock, most cupboards even have a lock- Bingo!

Flirt- don’t let Mummyhood take up your whole identity! During the day, even if you’re with your kids, flirt! Send him texts. Let him know what you are thinking, it’ll be sure to have him counting down the seconds to see you! (Wink, wink!)

You are welcome💛

Celebrating 25 Years With Clark’s Village

Clark’s Village Outlet in Street, Somerset is celebrating its 25th year this year & to celebrate, I was given the opportunity to take on the £25.00 bargain hunt shopping challenge.

This is honestly one of my favourite ever places to shop & is just under 35 minutes away from where I live, so we do visit here quite a lot. With up to 60% RRP at more than 90 high street & designer brand shops- what’s not to love?!

I’ve always thought myself to be quite a savvy shopper, I love to forage out the bargains- with 5 of us to clothe, I obviously like to save the pennies where I can!

I was super excited to see what I could buy for £25.00, so like any good bargain hunter, I spent a little bit of time looking over my store guide picking out the shops where I knew I should be able to find some serious discounts & made sure I visited those first.

Clark’s Village has a large car park, with plenty of parking available. Parking is pay & display, so remember your change if you are planning a visit & is just £3.00 for 5 hours, so it’s super affordable!

Straight on arrival MR.B wanted to have a look around Superdry where he managed to pick up a winter coat (Yes, we are well aware we are in summer, but MR.B likes to be efficient- haha!)£125.00 reduced to £75.00, saving £50- bargain!

I then wanted to have a look around Marks & Spencer’s where I found some gorgeous sleepwear pieces & the skirt of DREAMS! It was £28.00 reduced to £12.00 & it was honestly so beautiful, but they didn’t have any left in my size! Gutted didn’t even cut it!

We went into GAP where I managed to spend a small fortune kitting the children out with some summer pieces. I found the cutest pair of dungerees for Gracie-Mae & they were only £9.00!!

At this point I still hadn’t made a start on my £25.00 bargain hunt, I’d given myself a little theme to follow, I choose nautical, so was on the lookout for anything blue, white, red, striped etc... I will admit this was quite hard but I was absolutely adamant to stick to the theme i had set myself.

So I popped into Next & as it was like fate, a group of blue & white striped skirts were hanging on the front shop rail- £28.00 down to £13.00, that beauty went straight into my basket!

Whilst picking the children up a few more pieces (I absolutely adore the children’s section in Next!) I came across the Instagram famous beach hat £7.00 down from £20.00, £7.00!! So I just had to pick it up & it went with my nautical theme perfectly!

We then took a break from shopping as Isaac was getting a tad hangrey, a hungry & grumpy toddler is definitely not a good mix!!

There are plenty of restaurants on site, like PrezzoPizza Express & Frankie & Benny’s plus more, so you are definitely spoilt for choice! After a bit of lunch & refuelling, we headed to Clark’s Village’s very own park- King Arthur’s Forest Play Park.

We hoped Isaac would run off some steam & tire himself out enough to drift off in his pram for the remainder of our shopping trip. (This did not happen- ha!)

We’ve now been fed, watered & had a play so it was time to crack on & spend the last bit of my voucher, so I headed to The Beauty Outlet & picked up a red nail varnish for £2.00 & a red lip balm from The Body Shop for £3.00.

Before we headed home we just had to stop at The Cadbury Store to pick up a few bags of Misshapes! You can’t finish a Clark’s Village trip without coming here!!

MR.B & I were super chuffed with our bargain finds & had a brilliant day too! If you’re not too far from Street we’d definitely recommend a visit to Clarks Village – just make sure you have a fair bit of money to take with you as there are so many great shops!

Have you visited Clarks Village before? What bargains did you pick up? Let me know in the comments.

Celebrating Father’s Day! My 2018 Gift Guide

Father’s Day is less than two weeks away! I can’t even believe it, how is it that we are in June already, that’s just a little bit cray, cray don’t ya think?!

I just love celebrating Father's Day! Not only is MR.B the best partner in the world, but he is also the most incredible father to our 3 children. He was made to be a dad & he deserves more than just one day of recognition each year. I'm also fortunate to have an incredible dad of my own, Papa H. He sacrificed so much for our family & continues to work hard every single day, this man has always & will always be my very own superhero.

It's so important to tell the fathers in our life how much we love & appreciate them, & it's also nice to spoil them with a little something too! BUT- Dads. The hardest people to buy gifts for. Am I right?!

Have no fear! I rounded up (with some help from Jamie & Gracie-Mae as they love to get involved with present buying now!) a couple of gift ideas for all the men in your life that you want to celebrate on this special day!

What man doesn’t dream of their own man cave? A small area that can be called their own to hold & hide all their ‘manly, man’ things? MR.B’s is our shed- haha! No girls allowed apparently, with the exception of Gracie-Mae of course! So when she spotted this Personalised Retro Style Dads Sign from Give A Gift she giggled with glee & claimed it would make the perfect gift for her Daddy!

I absolutely love the rustic look design, made from a 3mm plywood & a twine hanging. You can choose what you’d like the sign to say along with a variety of different images- as you can see we went for the spanner, me being me laughed & said that’s very appt as he can be abit of a tool- Well Gracie-Mae didn’t understand the joke, but I’m sure there will be a few eye rolls from MR.B, haha!

This cushion I picked out myself, Now.... you may find this strange, but I’m abit of a cushion hoarder, I’m not even slightly exaggerating when I say I have a cupboard upstairs dedicated for just my cushions- is that weird? My other weird thing is that I don’t like my cushions being squished, they go all out of shape & just look deflated- maybe that is weird, but I don’t care, ha!

MR.B is terrible with my cushions, he has ruined so many them from squashing them with his big bum! so when I saw this Personalised Father’s Day Cushion from NOTHS I knew it would be the perfect gift, & he will definitely see the funny side of it too!

You can tell on opening that this cushion is made from such high quality material, it’s thick, durable & sturdy! I don’t think any amount of big bums will squish this cushion out of shape, haha! And I love that it’s personalised, it just makes it that little bit more thoughtful in my eyes.

A cake that can fit through your letterbox? Say Whaaat?!

Jamie picked out this wonderful Father’s Day Cake Message from Cake Nesthe is all about the food that boy, like Father, like son ay!

This 15 piece handmade cake comes beautifully presented in a 15cmx10cm box that slots right through your door- how handy is that?! as you can see from the picture above you can even have a small message typed out onto the front to make it personalised, again I thought this was a great touch. You can choose from a vanilla sponge, zingy lemon or chocolate, which are all available in a wheat free option too- this I thought was extremely useful!

There you have it, we each picked one gift that we thought would make great alternatives to the usual suspects of socks or ties!

What are you planning on buying this Father’s Day? I’ve still got to buy one more gift for MR.B from Isaac, any suggestions would be ace!

*Disclaimer- I was very kindly gifted all items within this post in purpose for this Gift Guide, however all thoughts and opinions are that of my own and as always 100% honest.

Ways To Comb Malaysian Virgin Curly Hair Bundles

Within the beauty and virgin hair bundles markets, we've today, Malaysian hair bundles are becoming a lot more popular for beauty enthusiasts every day. This haired is very soft, thick, smooth and lustrous. There are many types of this hair - straight, wavy, curly and plenty more. Taking care of this hair, especially with regards to combing the curly virgin hair bundles, requires considerable time and work. This frizzy hair type has little shedding, but there's still a small requirement for a standard quantity of shedding. Combing your hair might be a bit tricky. However, these pointers below you can get off right start

Finger Combing

The initial key to note while combing the Malaysian hair bundles is finger combing. Rather of standard combing and brushing, run your fingers carefully with the hair to detangle it immediately. The fingers would be the hair’s closest friend, and regular finger combing leaves your hair searching lush, also it could leave the curls bouncy. Before finger combing, make sure to use some water and conditioner to moisturize your hair a bit before you run your fingers with the hair. If this sounds like frequently done, the curls could be strongly retained, and it’s traverses expected.

Brush When Wet

Don’t brush the Malaysian hair bundles when its dry. The only real time you need to brush your hair happens when it’s wet, and that must definitely be completed with a large tooth comb or perhaps a Denman brush. If you are on the way out and also you can’t wet your hair before brushing, make use of a very wide toothed comb to repair the problem. However, you have to take care not to get it done greater than two times per day. When the hair are combed greater than two times or 3 times per day, it causes shedding, tangling and finally loosens the curls within the bouncy weave.

Untangle Carefully

Malaysian hair bundles rarely tangle, however, if you discover hair inside a twisted situation, all hope isn’t lost. Untangling your hair regularly keeps your hair searching gorgeous for any extended period. To untangle, the initial step would be to portion your hair into four sections and clip them so they’ll stay. Focusing on one concoction at any given time, comb the weave lightly using a wide tooth come. Never make use of a smaller sized comb as it will damage your hair. Start combing in the base they move up. In extreme tangle situations, make use of a spray detangler before combing your hair out.

Malaysian hair bundles are lovely, however they need a certain degree of attention and care. These combing tips will also be vital that you keep your hair bundles beautiful and engaging. Do your very best to help keep it searching well-combed whatsoever occasions by looking into making it effortlessly smooth and tangle- free which may provide you with that perfect look you deserve. Using these tips above, take proper care of hair correctly to allow it traverses expected.

Considering CoolSculpting? Here’s What You Need To Know!

I’m guessing that I’m not the only one that has heard of CoolSculpting on the radio or seen it on Pinterest. Freeze your fat away? My first thought was that this was another fad beauty treatment that was too good to be true. It sounded like something along the lines of a teatox cleanse, or one of those ridiculously uncomfortable waist-trainers.

As someone who has struggled with “trouble spots” for 10 years (since my eldest was born), I’ve kind of come to realize that the only real solution is to eat right, exercise, & just know that even then you’re still going to have those stubborn areas that just refuse to budge.

That being said, when I learned about the amazing benefits of CoolSculpting, I was definitely intrigued. Freeze away your fat?! Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever?! Where do I sign??

So what exactly is CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting is a non-surgical body contouring treatment that freezes the fat in the treated areas & eliminates it for good. You typically do an initial treatment & then have a second treatment 30 days later. It’s actually FDA approved for fat reduction, & once that fat is gone, it’s gone for good. Most patients typically start to see results around 3 weeks after their first treatment, though that can vary from person to person depending on your body’s natural metabolic cycle. The optimal results, you know…the kind that make you want to just show your BEFORE & AFTER pictures to everyone you meet, are typically seen around 3-4 months after your first treatment. It is worth mentioning that CoolSculpting is NOT a weight loss procedure. Most patients do see some weight loss, as is to be expected with fat reduction, but it is not for those who are looking to come in & freeze away 50lbs. The best way to find out if you are a candidate for CoolSculpting is to schedule a FREE consultation appointment at Pulse Light Clinic Bank in London. You can contact to make an appointment via their website or just a short phone call to 0207 523 5158.

I’ve attached below a short YouTube video so you can see a few Before & After examples.

Celebrating Double Digits! Happy 10th Birthday My Darling Boy!

Wait a minute, how in the world?

I’m trying not to completely freak out about my first born turning 10 today, but it’s HARD!

We are throwing him a sports party next weekend which Jamie is super psyched about, & today he’s officially a decade old! That’s insane to me!! The first time hitting the double digits is a HUGE milestone!!

I feel like 10 years has really passed in the blink of an eye.  I know that sounds quite cliché. But I remember the first moment I held him. When they laid him on my chest. I remember the ride home from the hospital.

His first steps, his first word, his constant chattiness as a toddler. Watching him learn, grow & turn into the amazing young man that he is today.

So I’ve written him a little letter in honour of his double digit birthday...

Jamie’s Birthday through the years, the day he was born to his 9th birthday.

To my Darling Jamie,

10 years ago, you came into my world.  You changed me completely, you made me a mother.  You are my first baby.  You always will be.  Someday when you have children of your own you will comprehend all that that means. Because you are my 1st, that will always mean unchartered territory for me.  Sometimes I get it right, often I do not.  You & your needs are always at the top of my list.

Jamie, I am so, so proud of the young man you are becoming. I don’t know what your future holds but I want you to always be yourself- who ever you feel that is. Don’t let anyone bring you down or make you feel like you are not important. Don’t stop asking questions, don’t stop caring for others, don’t stop making silly noises & jokes, & please try & continue to be nice to your little sister & brother. They may pester you more than you deserve but they love you & you are stuck with each other so ya may as well make the best of it. I want you to continue being the gentleman you are. Hold doors for other people, continue to give (you often give more than is expected of you at times I know), use your manners that your Dad & I have driven deep in you. Keep passing out the hugs, high fives, & being the ginger ninja that you are.

Above all I just want you to know how very proud we are of you. We are always going to be here for you to provide you with advice, encouragement, or just a shoulder to lean on. As you continue to grow & experience the pains that come along the way, I just want you to know I will always feel your pain & I will always try to help the best I can. Thank you for being so great & for having such a good heart. I have loved watching you grow & I love the little man you are becoming. You are brilliant & you are so loved! I love you my sweet boy.

Happy 10th birthday! Such a big milestone!

Lots & lots of love

Greater Skies Custom Star Map Review

Hey guys, how are we all doing? Long time, no see- hey!

Before you say, I know I haven’t been around much recently, I’m sorry! It’s just, well... Life!

It’s been a little cray cray recently & I haven’t had many a chance to sit down & write. The children have been taking up so much of my time recently, & due to lack of sleep- courtesy of our little Sleep Thief, my brain has pretty much turned into a zombified, mashed up mess!

BUT I promise I haven’t forgotten about my little blog & of course you lot reading!! Hopefully these sleepless nights will slowly fade away to be a distant memory & I’ll be slightly more refreshed, clear headed & ready to go!

ANYWAY (sorry for the ramble!) the reason for this post-

I was recently contacted by a company called Greater Skies asking if I would like to be sent a custom made map of the stars in exchange for review. I had a little nosy on their site & I fell in love with their products from the get go.

They create personalised star maps, which shows the alignment of the stars above you at a moment in time special to you. All you have to do is visit their website & start creating, & I challenge you to try & narrow your special moments down to just one! Or, you can do what I did, & get lost in stargazing for well over a hour!

I decided to pick the place, time & date that MR.B & I officially become a couple. Nawwwww, aren’t I cute?! You can also add a custom caption & message, which I think makes the most perfect, heartfelt gift.

The maps are beautifully printed on high-quality 260 gsm photographic paper sized 50x70cm so you can be assured your print will look great,
& you can also decide whether to have it framed or unframed.

What’s even better, is that there is also an option (if you are an impatient wotsit, like myself) to get an immediate high-resolution printable download, which you can then print off yourself- how great is that?!

If you’re looking for something meaningful to hang on your wall or to give as a gift- such as an anniversary/wedding/christening/birthday then you must check out Greater Skies, I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough!!

*Disclaimer- I was very kindly gifted a framed custom made Star Map in exchange for a review, however all thoughts & opinions are that of my own.
